History Comes Alive

The 4th grade students of Mrs. Kissee and the
5th grade students of Mrs. Hubbard are embarking upon an
adventure.....participating in the first Riverton Wax Museum! The
Wax Museum will be held Thursday May 8th at 6:00 p.m. in the new
gym. Each student has picked out a figure from U.S. history to
report on and have created display boards with their reports,
pictures, quotes and a timeline of important events from the
person's life. The students will dress up as their characters and
like many actors, they will only work for money! When a donation is
dropped into their cans, these actors will begin to play their
chosen characters...........otherwise they will remain as still as
statues in a wax museum!! All money collected will go to the
charity selected by the students........Children's Miracle Network.
Everyone is invited to come see "history come
alive"!!!
